AGRIBANK WEBSITE – DEVELOPED BY SPIDEX

The Bank’s Agency, Spidex developed a website which was presented to the Bank. Marketing
and ICT (E-channels) set down to analyse the website and the following are points which were
raised:-

1. Appointment on the home page is spelt wrongly


2. The home page is too long
3. The home page does not enough information
4. Picture are not talking to Agribank that we know
5. There are too many pictures on the website
6. There is Portuguese on the link “About us”, just above the directors information
7. Logo is not in the correct colour
8. There is no creativity on the website – word press was used
9. Large pictures take too long to download
10. No branch locator
11. Online chart not there
12. Link to internet banking, tip-off anonymous and Deposit Protection Corporation not
there
13. All links should appear on the home page
14. Footer should be at the bottom
15. The website should be compact
16. Navigation bar must have all links to Agribank products
17. Website not exciting
18. Generally, the website is what we expected

Suggestions

1. It is suggested that the website developer should look at websites for CBZ, CABS, FNB and
Econet to see what other organisations are doing. All their links are available on the home
page
2. Reference can be made to the current Agribank website
3. Suggested to improve on the current Bank website
4. Suggested to use in-house expertise
Conclusion

It is recommended that the Bank improves on the current website
