Who We Are ?
CESLA is a Plastic Welding Center dedicated to
professionalized the plastic industry through basic and
advanced courses, project development and materials
testing laboratory, among other services.

Is created to instruct in the best plastic welding

techniques based on the DVS standards, the industry is
demanding more and better quality labour and CESLA
main goal is to keep the highest quality standards
among the different applications involved in the plastic
welding industry.

CESLA help new companies that want to initiate in

the plastic welding field preparing their operators to
face new challenges and CESLA cooperate to boost
experienced companies to go to the next level in order
to achieve the highest quality standards and recognition
in the industry.

Training Target
With these courses, CESLA aims to introduce attendees
to the basic techniques most commonly used in the
joining of thermoplastics by means of hot air, extrusion,
hot wedge, butt and electrofusion welding. Additionally,
all our courses are designed to understand the theoretical
plastic welding principles that will help to solve practical
problems in the field.

Services
Tank Design

Based on measurements and specifications presented

by customers, CESLA performs the calculation of data
using RITA® to generate a tank calculation memory.

The integrated tank construction assistant RITA® helps

calculate vertical, circular or rectangular containers with
or without pressure in accordance with current DVS
2205 standards.

One of the main innovations of RITA® is the optimized

calculation of rectangular tanks with surrounding
reinforcement and yoke. RITA® has interactive wind and
snow load maps designed to plan and design outdoor
tanks.

Project Development
and PlastLab
As part of the services offered by CESLA, we have the
project development and plastic welding testing lab
services.

The project development service consist in the analysis,

planning and execution of plastic welding projects for
start up companies or new applications for established
companies.
On the other hand, through the PlasLab costumers can
be able to send sample materials in order to find out
what is the best plastic welding technology to be used,
the strength of the weld and the rigth welding procedure.

We count with testing equipment in order to give a valid

welding strength value with a callibration certificate.

Services
Plastic Welding

Plastic welding is a process designed to join pieces made

of thermoplastic materials. The welding takes place by
the softening of the areas to be joined. The molecules of
the polymer acquire a certain mobility by the action of
an external agent (heat, vibration, friction, solvent, etc.).

When both pieces are joined and pressure is applied,

the interaction of the molecules of both parts to unite,
intertwine, is achieved. Once the action of the external
agent has ceased, the movement of the molecules
decreases, leaving an interlaced structure of the
molecules, forming the union of both plastic parts.
