Subway Station
Map Description:

This map can be entered in a variety of ways. There are

two sets of Y-shaped stairs that descend into the station
from the city above in the west and east sides of the
map. These double stairs descend to the center plateau.
From the center plateau a single set of stairs descends to
the center of the subway station. There are northern and
southern subway lines that run parallel to each other
from west to east. They would stop in the center of the
subway station for passengers to leave as one way to
enter the map.

The center of the subway station has three sets of twelve

chairs well lit by fluorescent light fixtures on the ceiling.
Two map information boards are set up between these
chairs that lay out the various subway routes and
connections. Several pillars separate this area from
walkways adjacent to the subway lines. There are also six
chairs next to the stair entrances on each side that can
be reached from these walkways but have dim lighting
from a lack of illumination in comparison to the center
chairs.

Using Subway Station

You can print the western pages of the map twice and
flip the second copy 180 degrees to make the eastern
side of the map symmetrical with the west and extend
the subway line to the east if desired.

Using Subway Station with our other products

Subway Station was designed for use with our Trains:

Modern set. The Trains: Modern set has subway cars that
are fitted for use on this map and the empty subway line
page can be copied as many times as necessary to extend
the northern and southern subway lines.

CityScape Volume One may also be of use with its

subway entrance 6 x 6 tile which can be copied four
times from the PDF for the four aboveground subway
entrances. The rest of the CityScape Volume One tiles
can be configured in many ways to create the city above
the Subway Station besides the four fixed Subway
Entrance tiles.

Map Layout

Instructions for cut outs:

Printing:

Print only the pages that you need.

Overview: Page 5
Square Overlay: Pages 06 to 19
Hex Overlay: Pages 20 to 33
No Overlay: Pages 34 to 47

Layout:

To place the cut away maps together you’ll need to remove the white borders. You don’t need to remove all the
white borders around the edges, just remove the pieces in between the map sections, leaving a white border
outside the map in the center. If you leave the top white piece and the right white piece of each page, you have a
piece to glue onto. Use any cutting tool to do this, scissors being the preferred method.

Square Layout: Hex Layout: No Overlay Layout:

06 07 08 09 10 11 12 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 34 35 36 37 38 39 40
13 14 15 16 17 18 19 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 41 42 43 44 45 46 47

Assembly:

Either tape them together using transparent tape, or glue them onto a large sheet of posterboard or cardboard.

Scale:

Print Layouts are set to 1 inch (square or hex) = 5ft. VTT images are set to 100 ppi (1 inch = 5ft).
