NATURE OF SOCIAL WELFARE: The City and Development office

(CSWDO) is a government office that promotes the general social
welfare of disadvantaged individuals, families and communities. Its
functions are as follow (As stated in implementing rules and
regulations of RA 7160 or the local code 1991).

(WHAT FIELD): ECCD Focal Person and SFP (Supplementary Feeding

Program)

CLIENTS CATERED: Those people who needs for burial assistance,

financial assistance, livelihood assistance, counseling assistance.

VISION: A service oriented office with skilled, committed, gender

responsive and customer friendly personnel catering to disadvantaged
individual, families and communities through people’s employment and
provision of social services towards a better quality of life.

MISION: To promote individual, family and community development by

providing technical, social and welfare services.

GOALS:

 To provide protection and care services to children

 To capacitate marginalize and vulnerable individual, families and
communities.
 To provide livelihood opportunities to marginalize families and
communities.
 To provide financial/ food assistance to people emergency and
crisis situation.
  To promote the welfare of disadvantaged sectors such as
Person’s with Disabilities, Senior citizen, Women, Indigenous
People and informal victims.
 To establish network of support institution for the establishment
of VMG.

PROGRAMS:

A.) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

1.) Aid to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) – This is given to
those individuals or families who experience financial crisis
within a period of time that calls for external help. The amount
of financial assistance will vary on worker’s assessment
(Maximum P 1,500.00)
