2. What is art history?
-Art history doesn’t consist in simply listing all the art movements and placing them on a timeline. It is the study of objects of art considered within their time period. Art historians analyze visual arts’ meaning (painting, sculpture, architecture) at the time they were created. Also, another of art history’s mission is to establishes authorial origins of artworks, i.e. discovering who created a particular artwork, when, when and for what reason.
3. What is art appreciation?
-Art appreciation is the knowledge and understanding of the universal and timeless qualities that identify all great art. The more you appreciate and understand the art of different eras, movements, styles and techniques, the better you can develop, evaluate and improve your own artwork.
4. Why do people create works of art?
-There many reasons about people creating an artwork; it might be, in order to express themselves, to pass the boredom, for social connections, and etc. However, most of them are just expressing their selves in a way of creating and or making the surroundings pleasing to them and to everyone’s point of view. To convey that the art was the reflection of their true self.
5. What is creativity? -Creativity is the ability to transcend traditional ways of thinking or acting, and to develop new and original ideas, methods or objects.
6. Why is creativity necessary in art making?
-To allow the uniqueness within the self, in which, it truly identifies how different the work from other people’s work. It signifies the artistic self expressing the beauty of its own concept on how it should be showcase differently among the others.
7. When can you say that a person is creative?
-It is when they knew how to generate things differently from other perspectives. That enables them to view more about one single idea, in which, it gives the vibe of “I can do something more about this; I can surpass my limitations to be unique among the others”. Aside from that, it is also when that person will going to make alternatives from the scratch to the extent of its own ability to do work of how they should view it.
