strategy of a given industry or company
2. Possibilities of Blockchain Technology in Supply Chains
3. Cultural Impacts of Cooperation – a Cross Country Network-Comparison
(such as your country vs. Hungary)
4. How will Big Data shape the supply chain of a selected economic sector in
future?
5. Other digital technologies (3D printing, augmented reality, robots): usage in
future Supply Chains
6. Effect of Industry 4.0 on the future supply chain of (a given industry)
7. How can Industry 4.0 improve the international competitiveness of SMEs in
Hungary or in your country?
8. The effects of social media in Supply Chain
9. Comparison of traditional vs. “digitalized” supply chains (such as Wal-Mart
vs. Ali baba, etc.)

You will make Internet/library research. Compare current practices with future ones: Time
saving (order processing time, lead time), Cost saving, Customer service advantages,
push --> pull, savings in ecological footprint, explaining of how the new solution / method
can be used (such as postponement, VMI, lean mgmt., e-commerce, resource sharing,
etc.) Explain your own ideas to the given topic as well.

- Prepare a 5 min. ppt presentation (hand in in printed format as well)
