Our team worked expeditiously this summer to implement the Centegix hard-panic alarm system across all of our 180 schoo! sites. Additional professional development was also conducted over the summer. This included active assailant drills and training for School Police, as well as FBI threat assessment training for a large contingent of both district and school-based personnel Privacy screening is being added to existing chain link fences that surround playgrounds. Sixty new vehicles were recently purchased for our School Police Department. We have also negotiated salary increases to assist with the recruitment and retention of officers.
