Microsoft Office - Basic Digital Literacy Training: Tech4ED DICT Region 3


April 19-21,2022 (9hrs)

Basic Digital Literacy Training Tech4ED DICT Region 3 hosted three-day training, which
included the usage of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. To
complete this program, we must actively listen and take notes on fundamental facts given or
provided by the lecturer. The goal of this training is to learn the basic functions of
Excel/Spreadsheets, as well as basic lookup and basic index match, which will undoubtedly be
extremely useful to us students.
The interface, data types, and operations were discussed, and we were shown how to use MS
Excel to select, sort, copy, move, and remove data. PowerPoint is an excellent tool for creating a
slideshow of useful information using text, charts, and graphics. It is often used in business and
is frequently used in corporate and school presentations. The goal of this course is to grasp the
basic functions of PowerPoint, modify slides, comprehend the presenter view, and pick transition
and animation for effects.
The Essence of Data Visualization

Ms. Racquel Sarah Castro's Essence of Data Visualization is the topic of today's course, which is
being sponsored by DICT Region - IVA Laguna. Data management is the process of arranging,
storing and retrieving data as needed during the course of a data project. The data life cycle's
interpretation phase allows you to make sense of your analysis and visualization. Data generation
occurs whether you are conscious of it or not, particularly in our increasingly connected
environment. Some of this information is created by your business, while others are generated by
your customers and third parties. When properly analyzed, this data may frequently yield
important insights that allow you to better serve your consumers.
Intermediate Excel Training: Utilizing Tables and Functions

Intermediate Excel Training: Utilizing Pivot Tables and Functions, was conducted by DICT
Region - IVA, Laguna, with guest speaker Ms. Ritchell Arquilita. The training's goal was to
teach participants about pivot tables, their functions, and where they may be used.
Upskilling Creativity through ICT: Introduction to HTML and CSS
June 6, 2022 (4hrs)

DICT Region - IVB Palawan presented the training through Zoom platform, with guest speaker
Mr. Tiburcio Bautista III. HTML is used to create the core material of a webpage, providing it
structure. Installing Firebase simplifies the process of creating a new hosting project and running
a local development server.

with speaker Dr. Christine Lee. The topic about Creating an Adventure Game with Python Code
This webinar was hosted on the Zoom platform in Malaysia with speaker Dr. Christine Lee.
Despite my little experience with Python programming, this is a fantastic chance because the
topics covered here include how to construct an app or a game as well as Python programming
itself. Python is a high-level, interpreted, general-purpose programming language. Python is
designed to be a user-friendly language. As she talks, she also shows us the flow of a real
program.
Introduction to Rapidminer: A Data Science and Machine Learning Platform

CCSE Paytalks Webinar discuss the Introduction to Rapidminer: A Data Science and Machine
Learning Platform. RapidMiner is a free of charge, open source software tool for data and text
mining. It is available as a stand-alone application for data/text analysis and as a data mining
engine. Thousands of applications of RapidMiner in more than 40 countries are successfully
developed. Data can be stored in a flat file such as a comma-separated values (CSV) file or in a
database like a Microsoft SQLServer table. One could choose to simply connect to their data
(which is stored on disk) or to import the data into the local RapidMiner repository.

Webinar. This section highlights cooperation, teamwork, and leadership, critical thinking and
problem solving, and resume writing dos and don'ts. In this webinar, I learned that in order to
achieve our desired goals and desires, we must continuously remember the following five things:
avoid multitasking, take pauses, develop little targets, take care of the most important activity
while you're attentive, and follow the "two-minute rule." This might help us improve and
increase our productivity, as well as be more focused and precise in our work. Setting a limiting
goal helps you to concentrate on a specific project and handle it well.

nothing about it. Engr. says that in the webinar. Mc Glenn Tangalin, the guest speaker, believes
that every web developer, or even non-web developers, should be familiar with WordPress. WP
allows you to create/build the following kind of websites: blog or personal, e-commerce,
business, online courses, portfolio, travel, and so on.

PUP Virtual Career Talk hosted webinar topics about E-resume writing and informational
interviewing and personality assessment. Informational interviews are meetings to learn about
the real-life experience of someone working in a field or company that interests you. Keep in
mind, that this is not a job interview, so it's important to keep focused on getting information, not
a job offer. And personality assessment information about a person's motivations, preferences,
interests, emotional make-up, and style of interacting with people and situations.

Machine vision: A computer's capacity to perceive, by John Patrick Mabanta Pytalks has hosted
webinars that given us audience/participants an advantage that will undoubtedly be useful in our
intended jobs. The goals are to learn more about Machine Vision, choose the suitable hardware,
and learn basic programming and neural networks. In order for the program to operate, we must
pick the appropriate hardware. We will explore the many types of illumination, such as light
selection, sensor selection, and lens selection.
