Introduction:
The question that may arrive to our mind is, Who created that
brahman? How did that brahman come into existence? As i mentioned before
satyam, jnanam, anantam. That Brahman is an eternal and intelligent
existence. He is beyond space time and situation and more than that.Humans
bound by space, time and situations, it is almost impossible to imagine an
existence beyond space, time and situations. When brahman manifests in a
physical form, such manifestations are called ‘avatāras'.Why that brhman will
manifest as avatar, because to set things right in the society and to transforming
humans into better beings.
That brahman with attributes existence called saguṇa brahma, attributeless state
of existence, the same brahman is called as nirguṇa brahma. One may ask
whether one should worship the Divine with a form or without a form.Sanatana
dharma encourage to worship formless aspect of divinity.but what about
form!Worship of the Divine in a form which is simply a representation of the
formless.it is like cues or direction sign boards to undertake the journey of
realisation. There are two paths namely that of vidyā – the knowledge of the
supreme formless aspect of the Divine, and avidyā – the ignorance of the
supreme formless aspect, and thus, devotion to the manifested aspect(verses
9-11from Iśopaniṣad).In Vivek chudamani(By Adi Shankar)it is said that
Human birth is the rarest to get because it’s given only to humans to realise
one’s divinity, which is the true purpose of human life.
In this book it is explained that to realise one’s divinity three things
are needed,a human birth (narajanma) desire for self realisation (mumuksutva)
and the guidance of a guru (maha purusha samshaya)The true seeker must have
four qualification they arediscrimination (viveka), dispassion(vairagya), the six
qualities of sama, dama, uparati, titiksha, sraddha, and samadhan-together called
satsampatti)and an intense desire to realise the truth(mumukshutva). To realise
self divinity guru’s approach is very important. Then what are the qualities of
gurua is realised Master,a guru who has attained enlightenment and is
completely unselfish, kind, and always willing to assist a seeker in realising the
truth.
In the last chapter of this book explained about sustainability. For
sustaining this world in sanatana dharma there is solution.Practising of ‘dama’
which means self-control or restraint. ‘dana’ which means charity, ‘daya’ or
compassion, ‘tyaga’ or sacrifice. These are equally to reduce, reuse and recycle
and refuse these are the four values for sustainable societies.
Conclusion:
Sanatan dharma teach us how to lead a life,it show us the path of self
realisation, which is true purpose of human life.Every being present in this world
is divine. That means we should not harm anything. To conclude this article in
one sentence as satya sai baba said “Love all serve all”.
