Cabane de la Dent Blanche - Wall Flue Gap

From the Cabane de la Dent Blanche (3507 m) you first climb to the right of the west sloping rib, then
up the rib itself until you reach the firn plateau via a short steep snow ridge that leads to Wandfluelücke
(3700 m), 1 hour .

Wandfluelücke - Dent Blanche

From the Wandfluelücke (3700 m) turn NNE towards the Wandfluegrat. The ridge made of rubble
leads to P. 3882, which you bypass at the top right. P. 3907 is bypassed on the left (W) in the firn. Two
other easy humps lead at about 4000 m to the foot of the Grand Gendarme (4097 m). There are two
options here: 1. If the conditions are good, you traverse to the left in the direction of another tower on
the W flank. Ignoring this tower, follow the slabs and iron pins to the small bay behind the Grand
Gendarme. 2. If the W flank is icy, it is advisable to climb over the Grand Gendarme. Always stay on
the west side and come to a short edge a little to the left below the gendarme, which leads to the peak
(4097 m) (4a, H). The next two gendarmes are climbed over, bypassed the top of the next right (E).
The penultimate tower is climbed over and you reach the foot of the last steep tower. From here you
climb down a little to the left over slabs (H). (You can also get to this point by traversing to the left just
before the second to last tower and climbing up to the H.) A crack (3, Bh) on the W side of the last
tower now leads up to slabs that you left climbed (Bh). Ignore the top of the tower on the right and you come back to the ridge. From here on it no longer
presents any difficulties. Some smaller towers are bypassed on the left and you reach the top of Dent Blanche (4357 m), 3 hrs. From here you climb down
