Sanmati Higher Secondary school celebrated English day on 29

December, 2021 in which different ASL (Assessment of Speaking and
Listening) activities has been conducted by English department. The
session was conducted online. I have given presentation through PPT
on the topic “computer gaming addiction”. The celebration was aimed
to entertain as well as inform, with the goal of increasing awareness
and respect for history and culture of India and the struggle of Indian
fighters.
There were many activities throughout the day like, debate on the
topic “migration of youth to achieve career heights is a need” , quiz
based on grammar , Role play, Skit on social issues, Poetic conference,
group discussion, Ad Mad show, Invitation card making , which were
educative as well as interesting.
The main theme for the presentation was “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only
been instrumental in bringing India thus far in it’s evolutionary journey
but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime
Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0 , fuelled by the spirit of
Atmanirbhar Bharat. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all
that is progressive about India’s socio-culture, political and economic
identity. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”
commences on 12th march, 2021 starts a 75 week countdown to our
75th anniversary of independence.
