My name is Nguyen Thi Khanh Ngan.

I was born and raised in Buon Ma Thuot City, a

neither old nor young area of the peaceful and serene Central Highland. As a child of
this land, I was taught to become a generous, but strong and undefeatable person.
Imitating DamSam epic hero, who shines with the beauty of virtue, wisdom, talents and
courage, I live my life and follow my dream wholeheartedly.
Obsessed with being perfect, I always have my educational path planned out well. I tried
hard with my study and challenged myself with numerous competitions. One of my very
first proudest moments was when I won second-place in the local Ring the Golden Bell
contest in English in Grade 4. From then on, I have always been seeking the thrill of
being rewarded for my hard-working.
After finishing secondary school, I am known for my English ability since I competed
myself in the Provincial Excellent Student in English contest and four Internet
Oympiads of English competitions. I was selected to be trained as a member of English
team and eventually, the love for learning English has grown in me ever since.
During my time in high school, I got to meet a lot of teachers and guiders who guided
and encourage me to invest for my future in English teaching career. They said that it is
grateful that I know what I want to do and I even good at doing it. Therefore,
encouraged by my parents and siblings, I enrolled as a Linguistics student in university.
I find my pleasure in doing research and study English words’ components and
functions. Never have I ever felt bored in my study. All the lessons and speeches were
exciting, interesting and appealing thanks to the enthusiasm of my professors and
lectures. I bear in mind that someday, I can have the ability to inspire my students just
like they do. Thus, I wish to enroll in a master program in Education in order to achieve
necessary knowledge and identify my specialistic areas.
I want to feel completed and as an educator, I am in need of obtaining a wider range of
knowledge in many aspects and have to opportunity to practice many cutting-edge
teaching methods globally. I am currently working on my graduation thesis about
improving the intercultural communitive competence of students and initially found out
that simple changes in classroom organization can contribute a lot to the learning
process.
Choosing to study abroad is a tough decision to make, but this is what I always desire.
After doing some online research and being given advice about this. I believe that the
United States/Canada is an ideal environment for me to start. Ranking first/fourth in the
top 10 educational systems in the world in 2021, American/Canada has an outstanding
achievement and offers various option for students in numerous fields of specialized
education. I specifically choose _ University as my destination because
After finishing master program in America/Canada, I plan to build up my own private
English institute and accept my university offer on working as a lecturer. I witnessed the
demands since the process of globalization and internationalization are getting stronger
and becoming an irreversibly tendency, Vietnam’s education system is required to be
internationalized and aims at training and creating the education of global citizenship. I
believe that with the right and effective teaching strategies with I conduct from my
experience while studying at ___ university, I will have the ability and knowledge to
train my future students with the same enthusiasm and inspirations to become
international citizen and prepare for their upcoming journeys.
From my stated learning background and future orientation, with my best regards, I hope
the ____ University board of administration will grant me the opportunity to study
abroad in America/Canada and receive the top education in the world. I study with the
dream of contributing my heart and soul in the progress of building, innovating and
developing our country toward globalization and internationalization.
