World Prayer Assignment

Lord God, our Divine Healer and Miracle Worker,

We ask you to heal and protect those afflicted by coronavirus, and to bring them comfort.

May they regain their strength and health.

For those who have not been healed by you and lost their life to the coronavirus,

Have mercy, and let them rest with you and your eternal peace.

For the families of people who have been afflicted by coronavirus, bring them peace and

protection as well.

For the essential workers serving others and the sick, strengthen and shield them.

Grant them protection against illness and evil.

For the scientists and doctors working hard to solve the pandemic, enlighten them, and grant

them success in their work, so they can stop the suffering of others.

For the regular people doing their best to contain the spread for the good of their community,

Grant us success and stay with us as we witness great suffering, as we endure and mourn.

We thank you God for standing by us during this time of uncertainty and sorrow.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

My prayer is being offered for the special intentions of those who are affected by the

coronavirus. People who otherwise would be alive and healthy, are dying due to this easily

spread and complex disease. There are also many families around the world now dealing with the

grief and loss that comes with this. Some of these people even have to work in public places

where they are susceptible to contacting the dangerous and deadly disease. Even the people who

hadn’t been directly affected by coronavirus are struggling as the entire world is forced to isolate

and miss out on life. I hope this prayer helps these souls and the whole world find peace.
