    Serialization Process

    Query & Analysis (In your server)


    1. Copy the Q&A serialization file (.lic) to your desktop.

    2. Go to Start -> Programs -> Infor Performance Management -> Query & Analysis -> Setup

    3. The Login window will open. Login as user ID “system” without a password, then click OK.

    4. Click on Serialization and click Clear All. Then you can click Yes/Ok to confirm. The program will
    then close. Reopen Setup again (from step 2)

    5. Click on the Serialization menu (at the top) and select “Load from file”

    6. Navigate to the Desktop (where you’ve saved your serialization), select the .lic file and click
    open.

    7. Uncheck SunSystems 4 /All, then click Execute.

    8. Click on the assist (…) button to browse to the location of the sssystem.dat file.

    9. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Infor\SunSystems\ (typical location of the file for a 64bit
    system) and click Open.

    If you have a 32bit system, browse to C:\Program Files\Infor\SunSystems.

    10. Click OK.

    11. Click Ok.

    12. . Click Ok. (Allocate users as necessary)

    13. Exit Q&A Setup.

    14. You have successfully serialized Q&A.
