With Reference to 36th BOD Comeback Item#1

Meeting of Kaleem Shb along with Legal and NEL team with Mr. Muhammad Imran,
Additional In charge (EPA), Environment Protection Agency & with Mr. Ali Imran,
Registrar Punjab Environmental Tribunal (PET), respectively.

The Hubco-NEL team briefed EPA on the matter pending before the Tribunal. The purpose
of the meeting was to discuss and seek direction from EPA on resolution of the complaint
filed. Hubco-NEL team requested withdrawal of the complaint from the Tribunal. EPA
informed that being a government authority there is no precedent for withdrawal of the
complaint by EPA. Generally, both the EPA and Registrar PET seemed positively inclined to
resolve the matter.

After Meetings, Hubco Legal Team evaluate the below options with external counsel:

a) get a favorable order by the LHC on the urgent hearing application submitted ideally
before the hearing in the Tribunal

b) If the hearing in LC does not take place vacate the stay order against the proceedings
in Tribunal where we will demonstrate our compliance of directions by EPA.

c) To assess nature and amount of penalty if any imposed from the time of complaint till
issuance of EPO.
