RULEs and Regulations


ATTENDANCE RULES:

Students are required to attend the 15 weeks (30 Classes) to complete the course in Preparatory Year Program – PED and University Year Program – UYP.
Students who acquired eight (8) or more absences will be candidate for Denial (DN), once approved by the Deanship of Students Affairs, students will not be allowed to come
and participate to the class.
A warning form provided by the PEHRD shall be given to student who has three (3) absences – FIRST WRITTEN WARNING, six (6) absences – SECOND WARNING.
Withdrawal (W) of the course must be done by the student, failure to withdrawal the course make him a candidate for Denial (DN) or failure (F). Time line for Denial (DN) and
Withdrawal (W) of the course will be posted by the Deanship of Students Affairs and Admission and Registration Deanship.
PE classes start on time, students who will come five ( 5 ) minutes after the class schedule will be marked LATE ( L ) ,those who will come ten ( 10 ) minutes after the class
schedule will be marked ABSENT ( A ) . Student who acquired three (3) late will receive one (1) absent as stated in the policy of attendance.
Student who would like to excuse for the PE classes must get approval and signed from the Deanship of Students Affairs and PEHRD Director. If there is no approval from both
offices, then the excuse will not be considered. For those who are injured and have handicapped, they will be given alternative program provided by the individual instructor
approved by PEHRD Director.
Handicapped students have to attend regular classes the same as other students.
Only the Deanship of students Affaires and PEHRD Director (after receiving written recommendation from Deanship of Students Affaires ) can erase the absences from the on-
line attendance system.
ATTIRE:
Sport or PE uniform is required during classes. NO UNIFORM, NO ATTENDANCE rule shall be practice for the entire duration of the course.
For swimming classes, student must wear proper swim attire (Shorts. Shirt (Optional) and Goggles. They are also required to bring their own towel, shampoos and soup to take
shower after the class. NO PROPER SPORT OR PE ATTIRE, NO ATTENDANCE.
Facilities:
Student must observe and practice taking care of the equipment and facilities used in PE classes. Damaged equipment or facilities, it must be reported immediately to the
instructor for safety.
Student should take care of the equipment and facilities used during PE classes, lunch time activities and night activities. Student should be responsible for any damage caused
in the equipment and facilities.
Student is responsible for his personal belongings; PEHRD is not responsible and liable to any loss or damage of their personal belongings. As suggestion, for rent lockers are
available just inquire with PEHRD secretary.
Use of Mobile:
Use of mobile phone and other gadgets is not allowed during classes. Deduction to participation grade will be given to those who will ignore the rule.
Use of LMS:
Student is encouraged to regularly use the LMS to monitor his class standing. Announcements, survey forms (PEHRD rules and regulations, PAR-Q and CLO Exit Survey),
hand-outs, syllabus, result of written and practical examination will be posted in LMS.
