A woman with high regard for you, your institution and with an earnest desire to serve in
capacity in which the following qualifications were must be adopted, is applying for a position subject
to your consideration.
I am Marilyn C. Daen interested for teaching Filipino subjects at Community College of
Manito. I am 33 years old, resident of Cawit Manito Albay, and completed my Bachelor of Secondary
Education Major in Filipino at Community College of Manito, I am one of the pioneer batch of this
institution last April 4, 2013. I also passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers on the same year.
I am proud to say that I gained a rating of 85 on my Major Subject and 83 on General
Education, considering the fact that this institution is just starting but we are blessed to passed the
first time we took the board. After passing the board, I became a part of Southern Luzon technological
College Foundation, Inc. (SLTCFI) as a college instructor in Business Administration, Engineering,
Tourism and Education. I also have some units in Junior High School. At the same year, I also passed
the Entrance examination of Philippine Coastguard but I choose teaching.
I enter public school in June 2017 and my first assignment is at Anislag National High School,
as of now my current station is at Cawayan High School. I also have 18 units in Master of Arts in
Education and I am planning to continue it soon.
As a teacher, my main goal is to facilitate and motivate students to do their best in order for
them to reach their full potential in studies. I hope to instill a love of learning and a desire for constant
knowledge with the student.
I wish to teach at your school and continue my training and experience in my teaching
profession.
I am optimistic that all my qualification as applicant for teaching would met your standards
for hiring.
