Students are expected to be able to respond to questions on the following topics. Students
randomly pick up one of following topics and examiners can randomly choose to ask any of
the questions from the topic chosen by the students.
TOPIC 1. Health
PART 1:

PART 2:
Describe a time when you were ill
You should say :
when this was
what your symptoms were
how long the illness lasted and say how it affected your life at the time
PART 3:

2. What costs are involved when you are ill in your country?
3. Do you think most people worry more about their health as they get older?
5. What are the most popular ways of keeping healthy in your country?

PART 1:

PART 2:
Describe a piece of artwork that you have seen before. You should say:
Where you saw it
What it was about
When you saw it
And explain how you felt about it
PART 3:
1. Do you think that art is as important as academic subjects when it comes to educating
children?
2. Why do you think some people enjoy looking at paintings and sculptures and others do not?
3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of art education?
4. Do you think that some people are naturally better artists than others?
TOPIC 3. Technology
PART 1:
1. How often do you use Internet?
PART 2:
Describe a piece of equipment you often use at home or at work.
You should say:
What it is
What you do with it/ How to use it
How long you have had it
How important it is to you
PART 3:
1. Do you think people rely too much on modern technology?
3. Would you agree that the rapid development of digital technology has had a positive impact
on the world of work?
4. What is the most important piece of technology in our lives?
5. Do you think that the rate of technological expansion will slow down in the years to come?

Describe a period of time from your studies that was the most difficult for you so far. You should

PART 3:

TOPIC 5. Nature
PART 1:

PART 2:
Describe an environmental problem that has occurred in your country
You should say:
The cause of the problem
What effect it has had on your country
The steps, if any, that have been taken to solve this
Explain why you think this problem is so important to solve
PART 3:

TOPIC 6. Color
PART 1:
1. What is your favorite colour?
2. What is the colour that you dislike?
4. What kinds of mobile apps would you like to use in the future?

PART 2:
Describe a place full of colours
You should say:

Where it is
How it looks like
And explain why you remember it well
PART 3:
1. Do you think different types of people like different colours?
2. What do you think you can learn about people from the colours they like?
TOPIC 7. Space
PART 1:

PART 2:
Describe a story about space (real or fictitious) that you have read or watched.
You should say:
when you read or saw the story
what happened in the story
whether the story has any significance today
and explain how you felt about reading or watching this story.
PART 3:
1. Do you think it’s necessary to see other planets?
3. Are films about planets and the solar system popular in your country?
5. Does information about the stars and planets help children to develop their imagination?
TOPIC 8. History
PART 1:

4. Can you name a person from history whom you would like to learn more about?
