she did not meet since they were little,

of state for $5.
John Erickson $10 happy bucks ( 5
each ) for successful Cataract Surgery of
both eyes for his wife and a new hair cut.

President Roger Thanked to all for the
successs of our Back-To-School Take-
Out Dinner with Rotary event on
Wednesday, August 31, which went very
well, Special thanks to Jeff Assadi,
Peggy and his staff at our favorite La
Finestra Ristorante for having Meatball &
Linguini dinner with salad, Focaccia
bread and cookies all line up in time and
ready to go. Total 181 Dinner s were
sold generating $1810 for the Moraga
Rotary foundation. He also thanked
Jennifer Brophy for putting up the Web-
sit work and dinner pick up list, Debbie
Rossler for manning the check-in table,
Rich Render for the Tax/donation
receipts, MarieSue & John Erickson-
the Wine wrappers and Frank May &
Roger G the runners.
Our next E-Waste Recycling &
Document Shredding event is
scheduled for Saturday, September 17,
from 9:30 to 4:00. Rich Render thanked
those members who signed up to help.
More workers are welcome. Email Rich
Render if you can work a shift. Snacks,
lunch, and refreshments are provided,
with cold beer at 4:00 for tear down.
President Roger also reminded us that
it’s time to start thinking about reserving
your spot for the Rotary District 5160
Conference in Monterey, CA on October
28-30. Register on the Rotary5160.org
website.

President Roger also announced that
our Christmas Dinner is scheduled for
Tuesday evening, December 13, at Holy
Trinity, starting at 6:00 PM.
President Roger reminded us of the
next Rotary International Convention
for 2023 will be in Melbourne, Australia,
May 27-31. It’s not too early to start
planning to attend. All Rotarians are
welcome!

waves and we need your help in order to
