A. Nematodes (Roundworms)

Comparing the edges of the two ova. The edge of the ova of the Ascaris Lumbricoides (L) is rougher
(lumpy), thicker, has a rounder edge shape. The edges’ outer lining is much darker, and based on
research it is stained brown by bile.
Meanwhile, the edge of ova of Enterobius vermicularis (R) is thick-walled but looks smoother,
glassier, more translucent in appearance, and one edge seemed flattened as compared to Ascaris
lumbricoides. It also has a long-pointed tail that resembles a pin that’s why it’s called a pinworm.
