ANNOUNCEMENT ON MEDICAL RESIDENCY ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2019-2020

The Department of Health (DOH) is pleased to announce the start of the Residency Entrance
Examination application processes for medical graduates applying for training programs across
Abu Dhabi.
Tanseeq include:
 Physician Residency Program.
 Dentistry Residency Program.
 Clinical Pharmacy Residency Program.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Each candidate is responsible to ensure he/she meets the following eligibility criteria:
1. Successful Pass of Residency entrance examination (Note: Tanseeq applicants who have passed
the 2019 residency examination do not need to sit the residency entrance examination again.)

1. Medical school degree + completion of medical internship by 31/8/ 2020

2. Medical School graduation AFTER January 1st, 2015 (Non UAE Nationals only)

3. ILETS ( 6 and above) OR TOFEL ( 550 and above)

4. Applicant fulfil licensing requirements as per PQR 2017, including Gap of Practice.

5. Applicant should be below 35 years.

EXAMINATION DATES
All applicants must successfully pass the residency entrance examination prior to initiating the
application.
The entrance examination will be held at the United Arab Emirates University, College of
Medicine, and Health Sciences in Al Ain.
