TECHNICIAN EXAM
APPLICATION GUIDE

Please make your application process as specified in the guide.

Please keep your printed candidate registration information from the computer.
The exam begins at 14:00.The candidates will be taken to the exam buildings 15 minutes before
the start of the exam. No candidate will be taken to the exam buildingas after 14:00.

The implementation of this guideline prepared for the Medical Laboratory(Microbiology-

Biochemistry) Technician Examination, as required by the Hospital Operation and Transfer Protocol
between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Federal Republic of Somalia will be
made by the commission formed by Mogadishu Somalia Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan Training
and Research Hospital. This guideline covers the application of the exam, the evaluation of exam and
exam results and the placement guidelines. Candidates applying for the examination shall be deemed
to have accepted the regulations contained in the Guidelines and relevant legislation. the candidates
are informed through the announcements on the hospital web page and the communication panels.

Exam Date Exam Time : 14:00

15 MAY 2019 Exam Duration : 60 minutes

Exam Place : The exam place will be announced on the hospital boards on 14 May 2019.
Exam Languages are English+Turkish
 1- GENERAL INFORMATION, BASIC PRINCIPLES AND RULES:
• Exam Covers medical laboratory topics;
The exam is test method and consists of 40 questions in English and Turkish (80 points),
while 2 questions are only in Turkish (Fill in the blank space, 20 Points)

 Fill in the blank space questions and test questions of the exam will be evaluated over 100
points.
 The exam starts at 14:00 and will last 60 minutes.The exam languages will in
English+Turkish.
 The results of the Medical Laboratory (Microbiology-Biochemistry) Technician Exam will be
announced by the Examination Commission on 18 MAY 2019. The candidates who
have any objection of the exam results should submit their letter of applications to the
hospital management until 19 MAY 2019 at 16:00.
 Only a Somali citizen can participate in the exam.
 Candidates with a disability / health problem or contagious disease are required to inform
the hospital management and report this situation before making their application.
Hospital management may not accept applications from persons with disability condition
may be an obstacle to their profession. If a Disability condition of the candidates who do not
inform to the hospital management is determined, all rights obtained from this exam will be
deemed invalid regardless of the time passed.
 It is compulsory for candidates to comply with all the rules in this guide in order for the exam
and exam results to be valid. Candidates who do not meet the rules are considered invalid.
Even after the exam, the candidates who are found not to comply with these rules will be
invalidated from the exam results.
 If the total points of the exam results of the candidates are equal (in writing), The draw of the
ranking will be held in the presence of candidates.

2. APPLICATION:
2.1 APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Those who complied with the following conditions may apply for the 2019 Medical Laboratory
Technician examination.

 The candidates should cetify that they have at least 2 years of Medical Laboratory
(Microbiology-Biochemistry) education.
 The exam fee is $ 10 and will be paid to the cashier of our hospital, The receipt will be
taken.

The applicants are responsible for the information they have written on the Candidate
Application and Entry Form. The candidate shall be responsible for the results of the
deficiencies and errors in the information written to the Candidate Exam Application and
Entry Form. If it is determined that a candidate's statement does not conform to the truth, all
rights obtained from this exam will be deemed invalid regardless of the time passed.

 There should not be any physical or mental illness that may impede the occupation
and work.
 Being a Somali citizen.
 Successful candidates who start working at hour hospital, during the propation period they
will be accepted as candidate technician, In accordance with the positive approval of the
superiors and the commission on issues such as adaptation of working environment, skill and
 behavior, the personnel will be recruited as a full technician. Otherwise, the contract will be
terminated.
 Candidates who apply for the exam, although their status does not comply with these
conditions, cannot claim any rights even if they are successful in the examination.

2.2 APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Exam applications of Mogadishu Somalia Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research
Hospital will be conducted at Personnel Affairs office. In this regard, the road to be followed by the
candidates is explained below:

1) Application: Candidates who want to participate in the exam shall personally apply to the
hospital management .

2) Examination Entrance Document:

the candidates who delivered their documents, receipt of payment of the specified exam fee, to the
hospital management will be given entrance exam certificate. The candidates will bring this
certificate along in the exam day and present it to the examination officers. Candidates who do not
have an entry document will not be taken to the exam.

3. RULES THE CANDIDATES TO COMPLY

No belongings will be taken to the examination buildings:
Bags, wallets, mobile phones, clocks, Wireless communication providing bluetooth etc.
Devices: Headset, all kinds of electronic / mechanical phone and pager, radio, camera and so
on. Tools, pocket computer, clock, electronic device with dictionary function, calculator, etc.
With all kinds of computer features,
Food, drinks, etc. except water. With foodstuffs,
Drugs, plaster, bandages, armchairs, etc. Medical supplies and equipment are strictly
forbidden.

At the entrance to the building where the examination is held, the candidates and the
examiners will be searched by the security officers manually and / or by the detector. Candidates
who have been tested with equipment will definitely not be taken to the test buildings.

4. EXAM IMPLEMENTATION
The face of the candidate who will enter the examination must be open to provide identification.
Candidates will be taken to the examination hall by checking the Candidate Exam Application and
Entry Form for the related exam.

Candidates during the exam;

 Make conversations, cheating,
 Ask questions to officials in the exam room,
 Use paper on paper or write their questions and answers on another paper,
 Giving or taking pencil, eraser, etc. with each other.
 Read the questions before the exam answer period starts,
 Continue reading the questions and marking the answer fields, when the exam is over,
 It is forbidden to be in behaviors that disrupt the exam order.
The exams of the candidates who are found not to comply with these prohibitions shall be deemed
invalid.
