General Information

1. How long have you been in Korea, and how long do you plan on staying?
Ninjin has been here for two years, Lora has stayed here for 5 months. Ninjin studies
here, Lora is planning on studying.
2. What are your plans after your time in Korea is finished? Where will the cat be
living if you travel or move back home?
We are planning to get married in a country that allows same sex marriage, our cat
will be traveling and living with us!
3. Where is your home country? Please explain the requirements needed to bring a
cat back to your home country. How long is the quarantine period? And around how
much will it cost to prepare everything?
Ninjin is from Mongolia, Lora is half Mongolian/Belgian. We don’t have any thoughts
going anywhere during COVID-19.
4. How long have you thought about adopting a cat?
Ninjin really likes cats, we have been talking about it for a few months. Lora had a
house cat growing up.
5. Why do you want to adopt a cat?
We really want to adopt a rescue cat because cats are sweethearts (some of them)
and they deserve the best.
6. Are you adopting this cat for you or someone else? Who will be responsible for the
cat?

3-4 hours.
8. Please list any experiences you've had with owning cats or other animals?
Lora had 2 dogs growing up. Both died of old age. Her family has a Golden Retriever
as family dog at the moment. Her name is Ruby and is 4 years old.
9. Are there any circumstances that would cause you to give up the cat/kitten?
We really want to adopt a rescue cat because cats are sweethearts (some of them)
and they deserve the best.

Ruby is a sweetheart, she likes other animals.

Life With Your Companion

1. Please list three types of cat behavioral issues that could become a problem and
how you plan to deal with it should the problem arise.
A. Scratching , (Get them a scratching post, toys)
B. Jumping on furniture, (We put our belongings/fragiles in a cupboard, anything on
the furniture is not harmful to the cat.)
C. Hyper active at night, ( Lora & Ninjin really don’t sleep at night so we can try to
calm them down.)
2. What is your opinion about sterilizing cats?
We think it is helpful & mandatory because of that problem there are many strays.
3. Would you consider declawing your cat? In what case?
100% No. That is inhumane.
4. How will your cat be cared for when you go out of town?
We don’t really go out of town but if there is an emergency (which is most unlikely)
we would leave at a friendly cat daycare/hotel.
5. How much time per day can you commit to spending time with your cat?
At least 10 hours a day. Minimum.
6. Do you plan on exercising your cat and how?
We will go every sunday to the park, if she is sensitive to outdoors we will buy her
exercise games.
7. How often will you take your cat for vet checkups?
Every three-four months or if needed.
8. Other than food and water please list 5 things a cat needs.

Expenses

1. How much do you think it will cost each month for cat food and litter? Is there a
specific type of brand you intend to use?
About 50k to 60k won per month (Tofu cat litter 7L bag is 6k won, wet food for one
month is 20k won.)
2. Please tell us how much you think it will cost to stimulate your cats environment
with the proper necessities? (crate, toys, treats, collars, bedding, etc.....)
200k won for everything such as bedding, litter box, toys, treats, collar, bag to carry
cat, cat shampoo.

About 100-150k won per year.
5. How much will it cost to take your cat back to your home country?
We don’t intend to go back. But a seat costs 200-300k won.
