LAST WORD 总结

God doesn’t always work the way we want Him to. Sometimes He does or says things that are hard
to grasp. But we know that He is good, faithful, and loving. We can hold fast to who He is, even when
our circumstances or the way He’s leading us don’t make any sense. James 4:8 reminds us that if we
seek after God, He comes close to us.

And for those of us who feel like God is distant or even harsh, take the questioning of the Samaritan
woman and the disciples to heart. It’s okay to question God and wrestle with Him. If you’re in that
place today, I encourage you to talk to a trusted Christian friend about it and pray with them.

How could you draw near to God this week? What questions could you ask Him? What activities or
disciplines bring you closer to Him?

We follow a good God who notices people like a rejected woman and a puzzled fisherman. Even
when He does the unexpected, we can trust Him and choose to come near. We can seek His will
each day and obey faithfully. Let’s pray that it would be so in our lives.
