Cure Time Guide:

Cure time is the recommended expected period before pressurizing newly assembled joints. These times depends on
pipe size, interference t, temperature, humidity and pressure. Curing time has to be followed strictly to get the desired
strength of the joint. Longer curing time periods are to be allowed in case of high humidity and /or cold weather.

Note: Initial set schedule is the necessary time for the joint to be allowed to set before it can be

Note: Joint cure schedule is the necessary time for the joint to be allowed to set before pressurizing the system. In
damp or humid weather, 50% more cure time is needed. These gures are estimates based on testing done under
laboratory conditions & these charts should be used for general reference only. Field working conditions can vary
signicantly and will increase set and cure times.
Precautionary Measures:
•Avoid contact with skin.
•Store in a cool and dry place and keep away from direct sun light.
•Shake the solvent cement container before use. Always replace the lids tightly after use.
•Use in well ventilated areas. Do not breathe solvent cement vapours.
•Do not smoke while working with solvent cement as it is highly inammable.
•Don't use excess solvent while joining pipes.
