Examples to be included in EGCS record book in case of malfunction are as follows but not limited.
- Date, time and position of occurance of malfunction.
- Detail of malfunction, and actions taken and will be taken to put EGCS back to complianat condition
- Each parameter including sulfur content of using fuel in case of failure of monitoring equipment
3) If ship does not have suffcient compliant fuel, ship may use non-compliant fuel temporarily.
