We are looking forward to this wrestling event and we have no doubt that wrestlers
in the best light and chivalrous fight will provide spectators with a true sports spe-
ctacle in one of the oldest Olympic sports.
Participants from all over the world always carried the most beautiful memories
from our city, and the sports authorities of international sports federations gave the
organizers the highest marks.
I take this opportunity to thank the organizers of this tournament, who invested great
effort and knowledge to host of such an important event under the auspices of the
World Wrestling Federation. The City of Zagreb will be a safe sports destination for
all athletes and guests.

Wrestling in our country, especially in the City of Zagreb, has a long and rich tradition.

Grad Zagreb je centar hrvatskog hrvanja, a Savez hrvačkih športova Grada Zagreba može se pohvaliti da iz
njegovih klubova dolaze najuspješniji hrvači, od dječaka do veterana. Izuzetna mi je čast i zadovoljstvo što
je Svjetska hrvačka federacija (UWW) prepoznala naš rad i rezultate, te je dala povjerenje našem Savezu da u
vrijeme pandemije organizira jedan od rijetkih turnira koji će se održati u ovoj godini. Na turniru će nastupiti
najbolji svjetski hrvači, a Savez hrvačkih športova Grada Zagreba dati će sve od sebe da opravda povjerenje
UWW-a te da naš već tradicionalni turnir i nezaobilazna destinacija na karti svjetskog hrvanja ostane svima
u najboljem sjećanju. Prijenos uživo će biti popraćen iz cijelog svijeta, pozivamo vas da se uključite i pratite
turnir na našim digitalnim kanalima.

The City of Zagreb is the center of Croatian wrestling, and the Association of Wrestling Sports of the City
of Zagreb can boast that the most successful wrestlers come from its clubs, from boys to veterans. It is a
great honor and pleasure for me that the World Wrestling Federation (UWW) has recognized our work and
results, and has given confidence to our Federation to organize one of the few tournaments that will take
place this year during the pandemic. The best wrestlers in the world will take part in the tournament, and
the Association of Wrestling Sports of the City of Zagreb will do its best to justify the trust of UWW and
to make our already traditional tournament and unavoidable destination on the map of world wrestling
remains in everyone’s best memory. The live broadcast will be followed from all over the world, we invite
you to get involved and follow the tournament on our digital channels.
