Question: Young people learn good behavior from books or movies/ films rather
than a real life experience.
To what extent do you agree or disagree
Many today are of the belief that books and movies are better approaches to
teaching the younger generation good manners instead of real-life experiences
experiencing real life situations. In my opinion, both environments can shape
people’s behaviors. young people must have actual experience in real life to
behave well.
Therefore, parents often encourage their kids to observe others in daily lives.
superior choices involve observing others in their daily life and holistic support
from their loved ones. Most of the time, young people are surrounded by patterns
of behavior from their friends, teachers and parents. Those provide authentic
experiences for individuals to actually remember and model their guardians’ their
behaviors. In addition, if they adopt bad habits / manners instead of good ones
have a sign of copying wrong acts instead of good ones, parents or teachers can
give immediate feedback and adjust their behavior. For instance, when children
accidentally see a violent act, parents can explain to them the reason for such
action and why it is poisonous and should be avoided. This can will result in a
more well-rounded individual who is not only a great human being but also more
empathetic to others.
