PROCEDURE IN THE CONDUCT OF


MONITORING EVALUATION AND ADJUSTMENT
(SMEA)

1. All data must be prepared a day before the SMEA including but not
limited to the following:

a. Teacher’s M and E Report


b. Most Learned skills based on quarterly assessment
c. Least Learned skills based on quarterly assessment
d. Number of Competencies of Learning Area per quarter (target)
e. Number of Competencies covered (actual) during the quarter
f. Quarterly Test Results
g. MPS per Learning Area
h. List of Problem Encountered by learning area per quarter

2. Teachers and administrator must follow religiously the procedure


in conducting the SMEA.

3. Results of the SMEA must be forwarded immediately upon completion


to the district for the District Monitoring Evaluation, and
Adjustment.

4. Any issues and concerned must be addressed in school setting,


however in the event that the concerned cannot be addressed in
the school, it will be forwarded to the higher authority
observing decorum.

5. 100% attendance is expected to all participants.

Terms of Reference

Roles and Functions:


School Head
1. Develops a strategy the team will use to reach its goal
2. Communicates clear instructions to team members
3. Listens to team members' feedback
4. Monitors team members' participation.
5. Creates reports to update the School Monitoring Team on the
Team’s progress.
6. Distributes reports to the appropriate personnel.

Team Secretary
1. Ensures SMEA are effectively organized and recorded in the
minutes.
2. Keeps a record of the team’s activities and progress of the
program/project.
3. Prepares and sends communications to all team members.
4. Performs other functions as member of the team

Teachers

1. Actively participates in the SMEA e.i providing the needed data


in the conduct of the monitoring.
2. Undertake assigned roles within agreed timescales.
3. Shares collective responsibility for the performance of the team.
4. Demonstrates drive, determination, enthusiasm and an ability to
work effectively as a team member.
5. Supports and promotes teamwork and maintain regular dialogue with
all members of the team.
6. Supports fellow team members to achieve deadlines within and
beyond your own area of responsibility.
7. Attends and contributes to team meetings ensuring that
experiences in the implementation of the program/project are
shared with the team.
8. Seeks and provides regular constructive feedback through working
together.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION


TOOL

To ensure proper conduct and implementation of the programs and


projects cited in this Enhanced School Improvement Plan; monitoring
and evaluation plays a very essential role in this endeavor.
There is an organized highly structured monitoring and evaluation
team to oversee the enactment of the projects to make sure its
implementation according to what is being prescribed in the project
matrix.
The monitoring and evaluation team will gauge the programs and
projects according to what is being stated in the time frame of the
project matrix. It is therefore understood that the monitoring and
evaluation team will work year round.
The monitoring and evaluation team will use a tool to scrutinize
and evaluate the projects.
