2. COMPOSITION/DATA ON COMPONENTS
CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Printing ink – a preparation of colouring agents, binders, hydrocarbon solvents,
Vegetable soy oil and ancillary products.
Additives 0-5%
3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and water or use
a recognized skin cleanser. Do NOT use solvents or thinners
Eye contact: Remove any contact lenses. Flush with clean, fresh water for at
least ten minutes holding the eyelids apart. Seek medical attention
Environmental
Protection: Do not allow to enter drains
Relevant Authorities should be informed if the product
contaminates rivers, lakes or sewers
Handling: Smoking, eating and drinking should not be allowed in the area
where the product is used. Use Personal Protection measures as
detailed in Section 8. Avoid skin and eye contact. Comply with any
local Health and Safety regulations. Use in a well ventilated area.
Individual Protection: Use barrier cream to protect exposed areas but do not apply once
(Hands): exposure has occurred. Wear protective gloves in situations
where long or repeated contact may occur.

Conditions to Avoid: Heat, spark, open flames and other sources of ignition. Keep
away from strongly acid or alkaline materials. Exposure to high
temperatures may produce hazardous decomposition products
such as Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), dense
smoke and Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx)
The toxicological properties have not been fully determined but the product is not
classified as hazardous according to 1999/45/EEC. Prolonged contact with the skin
may cause removal of natural fats causing dry skin. Product splashed into the eyes
may cause irritation and reversible damage.
The product should not be allowed to enter drains, sewers, water courses or the earth.
The product may be disposed of under controlled incineration and in agreement with
Local and National regulations.
