The achievement of Unity and the comprehension of truth are supreme human needs. Our
darkness requires truth, and our instability need unity. Christian unity must be grounded upon
the truth. A Christian, then, must believe the truth because the unity of the church is
established when there is unity in the Word of God. Again, Christianity is much more than an
experience. It entails certain truths for which we must be willing to lay down our lives.

2. Why does Truth should be our guide and source of direction for community?

Truth directs us to do good things to our neighbors and also to our community, It gives us the
mindset to attain sustainable, just, meaningful support to our community life. It directs us to
embrace diversity and support one another to the fullest extent possible. For example, by
knowing the truth, we can get more involved to our community by donating to a charity and
organizing a community project.

1. Why is love and truth are inseparable?

Love is glad when truth is spoken. Therefore, love aims at truth. It supports truth. It is written in
1 Corinthians 13:6 that "Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth”.

Some truth will help us know if our acts are loving. One truth test for our love is whether we are
keeping the commandments of God toward people, in other words, love cannot be cut loose
from the truth of God's will. Truth shapes how to show love.

means that we can grow and mature, learning from our mistakes. For society, truthfulness
makes social bonds, and lying and hypocrisy break them.

Truth is absolutely necessary because it's the way we're created by God. It's built in, so to
speak. And every step we take in the direction of valuing truth and resisting falsity moves us
closer to understanding that God is Truth and to fulfilling Jesus' promise that this all-important
truth will heal us and make us free.

revisionism?
As a student, it is important to be vigilant in social media in terms of fake news because people
can easily manipulate and fabricate the truth and turn it into another story. In reality, fake news
appears to be the most modern of social problems, it influences users and misinform the
readers. On top of that, it affects how we see the truth and often neglect the real story.

Thus, we must be aware and educated to know how to assess and judge what we see in social
media and also be a role model to the new generations, seeking the truth and not the
unreliable sources.
