Learning task 1:

Vernacular means of everyday communication cellphone, social network, streaming video are
moving into areas where printed text cannot follow.
This is considered to be a challenge on contemporary literature because of the modernization and the
continues development of technology that enables writers to spread literature easier than printed text
like books, newspaper, and magazines. Because of this the means of printed text distribution,
promotion, and retail is destabilized.
The core demographic for printed media is aging faster than general population. Failure of print and
newspaper is disenfranchising young apprentice writers.
Now algorithms and social media are now replacing work of editors and publishing houses: network
socially-generated text is replacing individual-authored text. This has become the number one option
for writers in this modern generation to spread their work because it requires less effort to produce,
like literally one press away.
Not like the traditional process in which it has to be printed and produced by the publishing houses
and must be shipped or delivered to book stores just to reach other country readers. The evolution
and modernization in vernacular pave way for aspiring writers to spread their work and give them a
chance to be noticed.
