Pronouns as adjectives

When using pronouns as an adjective, they appear in the predicative position, and the noun is
articular.

e.g. οὑτος ὁ ἀδελφος – This brother

When αὐτος appears in the attributive position, it is an adjective meaning “the same”

The adjective ὁλος (whole) also appears in the predicate position.

Relative Pronoun

ὃς declines as αὐτος
Number and gender agree with the antecedent, but case is determined by the pronoun’s function in
the relative clause.
The relative is sometimes attracted into the case of its antecedent, with the antecedent sometimes
dropping out.
