Understanding

 Experiences:
1- Manager of National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTCP) under the Global Fund
grant from 2nd February 2016 Till February 2019, Key responsibilities and duties
included:

 Operational management of the grants – planning, initiation and management


of GF grants.
 Review and approve of all program activities before implementation
 Coordinate with MOH and project partners, to effectively develop and
implement the grant.
 Financial and substantive monitoring and evaluation of the grants,
identification of operational and financial problems, development of solutions.
 In coordination with the sub recipients, and all partners, ensure timely
execution of the grants within the set operational plans of the GF. 
 Coordinate with the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) and other local
stakeholders and other Ministries, non-governmental organizations,
communities in the field of TB.
 Ensure timely submission of financial and activity reports to GF.
 Oversee risk assessment for the program and implement risk mitigation
measures in a timely and effective manner.
 Oversee timely preparation of reports for the Local Fund Agent (LFA).
 Participate in technical committees of the CCM.
 Conduct visits to provincial sites to supervise activities supported by the
Global Fund.
 Development the emergency plan with donors, IOM and WHO technical
assistance.
 Developing proposal for Childhood TB and Malnutrition with UNICEF
 Presenting grants results at national and international forums.
 Representing the NTP in National and international meetings.
 Communications with GF, WHO and other partners.
 Undertake any other reasonable duties requested.
2- Program officer (Manager assistant) at NTCP under the Global Fund grant (1. July.
2012 To 30. January. 2016) , Key responsibilities and duties include:
 Supervised and follow up all program activities during planning and
implementation.
 Coordinate development of training curricula, standards operating procedures
(SOPs) and oversee trainings.
 Review and approve of all program activities before implementation
 Worked as program monitor responsible for managing program activities in
assigned provinces.
 Coordinate with UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and
implemented training in some refugee’s camps in Sana'a, Aden and Hajjah.
 Collect monitoring data, verify and validate data to ensure the quality of data
and use the data to inform programming and policy advocacy.
 Participate and contribute to the development of national strategic plan, work
plan and budget, sub agreements/subcontracts, narrative reports, other
reporting requirements related to the program.
 Assist in financial management of the program in collaboration with program
administrator and finance staff.
 Originate and respond to project correspondence in a timely manner.
 Ensure that projects managed by SRs are executed according to action plans
and within established budgets
 Other tasks as required and requested.
3- Assistant Professor (Lecturer) of Community Medicine from 1.9.2011 To
30.8.2012 at Thamar University, Medical College, Lecturer for the following subjects:
 Epidemiology, Research Methodology and infectious diseases for Medicine
and Nursing students.

4-One and Half year experience in ART(Antiretroviral Therapy) center and TB center
of Lok-Nayak Hospital, MAMC, New Delhi, India 2/3/2009 To 15/8/2010.Researcher
on HIV/TB co-infection( interviewed ART and TB centers staff, People living with
HIV/AIDS and TB patients, Collecting data and Participated in some department's
activities.
5-One year experience at the Department of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad
Medical College, Delhi University, New Delhi, India, Pre PhD course (Participated in
all department activities) 1/ 10/ 2007- 15/11/2008.
6- Four years’ experience in preventive medicine department at general police
hospital, Sana'a, Yemen 1/April 2000- 30/ December 2003.Key responsibilities:
 Provide health related counseling on the prevention of communicable diseases.
 Introduce general health related information and instruction to individuals,
families and community groups 
 Administered a variety of pre-examination tests including skin tests, blood
tests, and other tests used in determining communicable disease; provide
information and education to patients before and after tests as necessary
