 Provided services and supervise staff providing 24 hour, 7­day mental health services in the
Montgomery County Jail.
 Recognized intoxication and withdrawal, suicide prevention, crisis intervention, counseling,
referrals, routine assessments, and maintaining NCCH and ACA standards for mental health in jails.
 Coordinated county jail diversion program to divert mentally ill from jail.
 Served on community Criminal Justice/Mental Health committee to initiate and train Dayton Police
Department CIT officers (based on Memphis CIT program) and committee to set up mental health
courts for Montgomery County.
 Served on Mental Health Court Roundtable to determine eligibility for mental health court and
follow clients accepted to mental health court.
 In charged of all medical records of every staff member, camper, and counselor that came into the
camp ground.

 Also function as a Health Officer prescreening inmates for emergency commitment to Twin Valley
Psychiatric System.
 Liaison for Common Pleas and area municipal courts, as well as Prosecutors Office, Public
Defenders Office, attorneys, forensic psychologists, families, and police.
 In addition, train the Jail Extraction Team and have been involved in training for the Sheriffs
Department Hostage Negotiation Team in intervening with the mentally ill.
 In addition I was on call 24/7 for any and all medical emergencies that may arise at the camp.
 Finally, I was also in charge of teaching three different merit badge classes each day for multiple
groups of campers.
 During my time there I treated everything from minor cuts and scrapes but also had to ship out to
major medical emergencies which required immediate medical attention.
