How to apply : The applicant has to visit the local government bodies like Gram Panchayat, Municipalities to collect the application form. After duly filling the form, it has to be submitted to the same office. This scheme introduced under National Social Assistance Program provides monthly pension to disabled people for the prosperity of theirlives. Any disabled person whose age is more than 18 years, and with 40% disability belonging to the poverty line can apply for this scheme. A sumof Rs. 300 is paid as pension for people up to the age of 79. anda sum of Rs. 500 is applicable for people above 79 years.
