The two brothers' third challenge was to capture Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. When
Artemis saw the twins approaching, she quickly transformed into a stag and leapt
between them. Greedily, the two brothers threw spears to hit the animal, but the
spears went back and killed them both.

RISING ACTION
Rising Action 1: Imprisoned Aries
Rising Action 2: Threatened to pile Mount Bellon on Mount Ossa
Rising Action 3: Zeus was going to shoot them; Poseidon stopped him
Rising Action 4: They chase Artemis and she tricks them.

FALLING ACTION

They first threatened to pile Mount Bello on Mount Ossa. Enraged by their actions, Zeus was
going to shoot them when Poseidon stopped him. They then tried to capture Artemis as she
cunningly runs away and disappears.
