Journal Week 7

A). Problems
During this week, on the whole, the teaching and learning process went well as planned. However, I still lack
the idea to diversify the filling techniques in each topic I want to present. This causes some of my students to be
less focused during the lesson. Sometimes I have to be firm with them by warning and so on. This in turn
causes disruption to other students who want to learn and in addition affects the planned teaching period.
B). Analysis
Honestly I find there are still a lot of shortcomings in me that need to be fixed. I sometimes lack an
understanding of the topic I want to convey in depth to students resulting in a lack of applied teaching steps and
techniques. Sometimes, I don’t think much longer in applying the appropriate techniques to my students
causing sometimes the techniques taught are not very successfully communicated well. Regardless, I keep
trying to experiment with various other techniques to make teaching and learning more effective in the future.
C). Suggestions for Improvement
In the future, I will make sure that every filling in every topic I want to convey will be understood in depth first.
I will also make more discussions with the guidance teachers so that every problem that arises can be resolved
in order to launch the teaching and learning journey in the future.
D). Period of Time
I will try to overcome this problem from time to time to fix all my weaknesses in these various things. It is not
too late for me to improve the quality of my weaknesses in the success of an effective teaching and learning
session. In the future I will do my best to find more suitable teaching techniques to be applied so that the
teaching objectives are achieved and everything that is planned is implemented so effectively.
E). Success Evaluation
All constructive remarks and views given from colleagues, guidance teachers and lecturers I will follow in
ensuring the effectiveness of teaching and learning that will be planned later as well as can improve my skills to
be a more dedicated teacher in educating students to be successful.
F). Follow -up Action
I will try to be more creative in planning teaching and learning activities so that my students have more fun and
do not get bored easily in understanding everything that is taught later.
