MY ENVIRONMENTAL TO DO LIST

1. Recycling ♻ It reduces the need to harvest new raw

materials, saves energy, reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, saves money, reduces the amount of
waste that ends up in landfills, and allows
products to be used to their fullest extent.
2. Conserving water It keeps water pure and clean while protecting
the environment. Conserving water means using
our water supply wisely and be responsible. As
every individual depends on water for livelihood,
we must learn how to keep our limited supply of
water pure and away from pollution.
3. Stop littering Litter has the potential to cause harm to human
health, safety, welfare, as well as the
environment. The ideal way to handle the
problem of littering is for each member of
society to take responsibility and try their best
to properly dispose waste.
4. Reduce air pollution Avoiding the burning of garbage and smoking –
burning of garbage is a huge contributor to air
pollution. Another contributor to air pollution is
cigarette smoking. Avoiding these activities and
spreading awareness of their negative
consequences can be of great help in the
prevention of air pollution.
5. Save Electricity Sources of electricity such as coal are depleting,
so it’s important to be mindful of electricity use
and make adaptations so we can preserve
sources while we find sustainable alternatives.
