Education has been used as an instrument for colonization from the start. We Filipinos
believe that education is our ticket to get out from poverty and that the lack of it as a sure way to
failure. In my own experience in school, there are a lot of problems in attaining the goal and
philosophy of our education system. But what important is Filipinos give importance not only on
knowledge and skills buts mostly in the character development of learners as well as in the
Philosophy of SPC. San Pablo Colleges clearly define what the learners need to know and able to
do morally and spiritually. It also has a personal meaning, value, and understanding through
what is taught and learned in the institution.
