The Role Of Guidance And Counseling In Effective Teaching And Learning Despite Of Pandemic

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The purpose of the study was to determine the role of guidance and counseling in effective
teaching and learning process amidst of pandemic in selected public secondary schools in Lipa
City.

Specially, the following questions were answered:

1. Determine the profile of the learners/students in terms of:


1.1 Age
1.2 Gender
1.3 Grade Level

2. How do the respondents assess the guidance counselors affectivity in pandemic in terms
of:
1.1 Professionalism
1.2 Availability
1.3 Effective academic teaching/learning implementation
1.4 Distance support to teachers and students

3. What are factors that hinder effective guidance and counseling in public secondary
schools during pandemic in terms of:
1.1 Enhancement of the quality in professional knowledge
1.2 Ensuring students excellent educational experiences
1.3 Adequate training and support to teachers
1.4 Assistance to students with special needs in academic

4. Is there a significant effect between the assessment of the respondents to the role of
Guidance and Counseling in effective teaching and learning process amidst of pandemic
in terms of:
1.1 Academic Learning
1.2 Academic Teaching
