Warriors of The Rainbow

Last week, we watched the movie named "warrior of the rainbow". This movie is based on a true story
of Taiwanese history. Between 1895 and 1945 the island of Taiwan was a Japanese colony, and the
remnants of the Aboriginal tribes who settled in the mountainous area, and still clung to their traditions,
despite not being allowed to be headhunters anymore.

In this movie, I saw different culture of tribes and their culture. I noticed that the tribesmen had to fight
and hunt to become a warrior and is ceremonially tattooed on their face. It is the meaning of belief in
their ancestors would lead the spirits. That was a culture shock for me. We enjoyed the traditions of the
tribes such as their dancing and singing. We can also learn the history of Taiwanese and Japan
colonialist. There is also an interesting point in this movie. The tribesmen plotted a rebellion against
their Japanese colonial masters. Tribble war has combated in their age. I consider, it is a kind of human
sacrifice. There is no a safe life for women and children. Because we can see almost of the women
seized and either child. They had seized as a consequence of lack of food. Both of strategies from tribes
and Japanese colonist was amazing.
