Creating Mid Term Test Papers – Term 3 in 2022 Guidelines

 Mid Term Test papers are to be made only for the core subjects of Maths, Science,
English, Sinhala/Tamil, Social Studies and ICT
 Grades 1 & 2 - Attached template for Grades 1 & 2 should be used.
Font : Comic Sans MS Size : 14
 Grades 3 – 6 - Attached template for Grades 3 – 6 should be used.
Font : Book Antiqua Size : 12
 Exam question paper to be prepared
For Grades 1 & 2 - for maximum two papers (double side) including questions
keeping space for answers.
For Grades 3,4,5 & 6 – for one paper (double side) including only questions
without keeping space for answers.
 Line spacing : 1.5
 Margins : Left & right of the page – 1 inch
Top & bottom of the page – 0.5 inch

 If images or clip art are included it should be black and white images or clip arts
 Please indicate the page number at the centre of the bottom of the page
 Deadline for the Subject Teachers to hand over the Mid Term Test papers to
the Subject Coordinators – 14th of September 2022

Important

 When the papers are received by the Subject Coordinators, they are to discuss
and verify the questions with the resource persons.
Deadline for the Subject Coordinators to submit the Mid Term Test papers
to the Assistant Principal – 16th of September 2022
When submitting the Mid Term Test papers to the Assistant Principal via an
email, please mention the Subject and the Grade in the Subject bar of the email.
