A narrative or traditional literature review is a comprehensive, critical and objective analysis of the
current knowledge on a topic. is to demonstrate a gap or problem in your field that your research seeks
to address.

A systematic review is a review of a clearly formulated question that uses systematic and reproducible
methods to identify, select and critically appraise all relevant research, and to collect and analyse data
from the studies that are included in the review

It involves four major phases: 1) Selecting a review topic, 2) Searching the literature, 3) Gathering,
reading and analyzing the literature, and 4) Writing the literature review.
