Data science and Artificial intelligence (DSAI):

After making survey on the following areas such us our UG background and research area, Future job
availability and the course availability in IITM we decide to request you to rebrand the department
from data science to Data science and Artificial intelligence (DSAI).

Studying M.Tech in DSAI will increase our research area and future job placement beside this IITM
also will attract more applicant in DSAI as we know AI is also one of the emerging technology.

Based on our survey, the courses we want to take for supporting AI are available under cs
department and other departments.

To achieved this, we plan to take some courses from the following areas (Data science, AI/Machin
leering, Statistics, Business intelligence, Indian cultures)
