III.Procedure
A. Activity 1: “Finding the Missing Letters”
In five (5) seconds find and fill in the missing letters in the picture. Raise your hand if you
want to answer.

B.Analysis: Activity 2:“Figure Me Out”


In this activity, in five seconds tell what the picture implies and tell if it is presented directly and
indirectly.

C.Abstract: ”What Is It?”


Explicit describes something that is plainly, directly and clearly stated.
Ex. It was a dark and stormy night.
Implicit describes something that is not clearly and indirectly expressed. It is implied.
Ex.The trees are swaying wildly outside.

D.Application:Activity 3:”IMPLICIT….EXPLICIT “N FROZEN”


In this song tell the lines that are implicit and explicit. In five seconds recite your answers. Raise
your hand to be acknowledge.

IV.Evaluation :Activity4:”IMPLICIT? EXPLICIT?.....TELL ME”


Ask a volunteer to read the short text(in the PPT) then, teacher
will read each sentence, you tell me if it is explicit or implicit.

V.Assignment. Activity 5: “Draw and Tell”


Draw any picture or symbol then explicitly describe or tell that it is about. (20pts.)
