This scholarship aids in empowering my academic and career goals by cutting the financial barrier.

Getting a scholarship takes away all my financial concerns. Thus, it provides me more time to study, gain
knowledge and secure better grades. Earning scholarship is prestigious and it will show a good impact on
future employers.

As I didn't have the best grades in structure related subjects in undergraduate degree, It was quite hard to
select me in Structural Engineering MSc course. I was selected in Post graduate in Structural
Engineering. After completing such course in a first class grade I was admitted to the MSc research
course. I got an opportunity to prove myself beyond my grades, experiencing high motivation. I have
easily overcome the difficulty remembering facts and figures. I have a lack of right resources. I will go to
the library, ask friends to support me. I will struggle with time management for studying and part time
working at the university. I have always positive thinking and attitudes that help me to overcome each
and every problems regarding the higher education.

The reason why I should get a scholarship is that it can reduce the cost of my engineering degree. I
deserve this scholarships because I have a great passion and determination to achieve my goals no matter
what hurdles I have to overcome. You are not only just providing me such a golden opportunity to get
through such award but also improving the quality of my education solving my financial difficulties
during the study period. Achieving such scholarship highly encourages me for creation and new
innovation.

In the future, I hope to be able to integrate my fieldwork skills with my academic knowledge in order to
continue to investigate innovative structures based on geotechnical based design. Through the guided
projects that are based on real world scenarios, I will be able to prepare myself for the types of projects
that I will encounter in the workplace. My interest in geotechnical engineering PHD inspired me to take
applied science courses, and hope to be able to use my knowledge from all these fields in order to pursue
a career in designing and ensuring the safety and serviceability of challenging structures, I hope that this
statement of purpose for geotechnical engineering can convey my genuine interest in advancing my
knowledge in the field through this research program .
