1. The Public self: This area is called open area because the person belonging to this
area is known to that person itself as well as other people. The person socializes more
often and constantly makes conversation or relationship in their surroundings.
This area can be increased by using the responses of others and help yourself or others
to communicate more efficiently and make the work easier.

2. The Blind Self: This is the area in which the certain information of your personality
is known to others but you are unaware of it. The person doesn’t know about this part
of themselves that’s why it is also called the blind spot. To improve in this area a
person can use the feedback from others and focus on them.

3. The Private Self: This is the area where the information is known to you but you
keep it unknown from others. This mainly consist of some fear, past experiences,
secrets. This area can be minimized by moving this information to public self and be
open about that information.

4. The undiscovered Self: In this area the others and the person itself does not know
about their feelings, capabilities or talent. This part maybe remains undiscovered
forever or maybe one day be discovered. Open communication can help discover this
area.
