1. Explain briefly any TWO (2) types of practices in Islamic management operations.

1) Leadership

Leadership is the state or position of being a leader that goes with or in front of a person to
show the way of the right direction. Leadership in Islam is manage or able to lead to
achieve an objective and compete to be ahead of others to seek the pleasure of Allah and
success hereafter.

A leader is entrusted with leading a group of people or managing an organization and on


top of that the leader will not have absolute power because Islam necessitates participative
management and check balances

2) Responsibility

Responsibilities is an obligation to do something with the expectation of a ceratin result.


Everyone is responsible for what is under his authority. Manager responsible for
accomplishing certain rules must have power to use resources to achieve those results.
2. Discuss briefly the principle of ‫( الطاعة‬Obediance) in Islamic management operation.

Obedience, in human behavior, is a form of "social influence in which a person yields to


explicit instructions or orders from an authority figure. Obedience is generally distinguished
from compliance, which is behavior influenced by peers, and from conformity, which is
behavior intended to match th at of the majority. Islam considers obedience to the leader so
important that it views any kind of insubordination to be abhorrent unless in very specific
circumstances. In fact, the Prophet once said that “obedience (to the leader) is required only in
what is good.“
