Proceedings/Discussion:

Mr. Romeo A. Cabillas Jr., the School Head, discussed about Dep.ed Order No. 36,s. 2016. This is all
about Policy Guidelines on Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program. This policy
aims to give all learners equal opportunity to excel in relation to the standard set by the curriculum
and focus on their own performance than to compete with one another. He further discussed what
awards would be given to those qualified learners. He also ordered to make rubrics for any awards
given to learners who meet the criteria.

Candidates for the awards are deliberated by the Awards Committee if they have met the given criteria
based on the given rubrics.

Thus, the school set or organized School Awards Committee.
